Dog training in and around Southam, warwickshire

About me

When looking for a dog trainer, whether you have a new puppy, adolescent or adult dog, it is so important to find the right trainer for you and your dog. With so may options available now, this can be a difficult decision to make. To help you decide if I am the right trainer for you, I’ll tell you a little bit about myself….

After 5 years at college and university studying a degree in Animal Welfare, I have worked with a variety of dogs for 15 years, from rehabilitating rescue dogs at Blue Cross, to caring for Guide dogs and being involved in the training and socialisation of police dog puppies. I am a qualified trainer with the IMDT (Institute of Modern Dog Trainers), promoting positive reinforcement in all my training.

I am the proud ‘mum’ of Maggie the Cavapoo, Flash the cat, 2 guinea pigs, 1 tortoise and 3 snails. (My 2 young children have inherited my love of all animals).

At the heart of all my training is ‘Building Confidence in Canines’, whether this is puppies and early socialisation or adult dogs who are struggling in certain situations. I draw upon all my experience to come up with a training plan, specific to your dogs’ needs, to help them through their worries and anxieties and give you the training ‘toolbox’ to help them cope with whatever they are struggling with.

My goal is to inspire the people I work with, to put in the dedication needed to raise and train dogs to be happy and confident, so you can enjoy life to the full together.

Reviews

“Getting Louise’s help working with our rather challenging young shepherd-cross puppy was the best thing we did. She doesn’t just work with the puppy to train them, she worked with us to teach us how to interact with her so that the training stuck, and so that both we and Roux got really confident around each other.
Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to train their dog.”
